   We would compare the small curly haired togate 
   figure on this coin with the small figures of 
   Trajan and Gordian III shown standing beneath 
   Jupiter on their respective issues, and identify 
   it as Marcus Aurelius. In RIC and BMCRE, 
   however, it is called a "child."
